Course Description

Museum education is an educational activity conducted inside and outside the museum. It goes without saying that the museum's main functions include exhibitions, preservation, and utilization, all of which are linked to museum education, but in recent years, museums have been making major changes in policy through erudite collaboration, and many newly established museums have placed museum education at the center of museum activities. In this lesson, we learn what the philosophy of museum education is, what kind of educational activities are being carried out, the significance of conducting them at museums, learn about their relationship with schools, communities, and lifelong learning through educational activities, and how to actually carry out educational activities, and explore the future of museum education.
