Course Description

This course (composed of Development Finance III in the spring semester and Development Finance IV in the autumn semester) deals with development finance issues in developing Asia. Development FInance IV will discuss "green and social" finance (Theme 1) , and finance for infrastructure development (Theme 2). The roles of private finace in the context of "green and social" finance and finance for public-private partnership (PPP) projects will be emphasized with some case studies taken from actual projects implemented in developing Asian countries.
