Course Description

Museums collect a wide variety of materials, and these materials contain a lot of information. For this reason, the management and dissemination of information in museums has been a major objective of modern museums since their inception. The media used to display, research, and educate this information are called media, and various media have been used to communicate information through hands-on exhibits, diorama exhibits, and scientific demonstration experiments. In addition, more than 20 years have passed since the spread of the Internet, and the types of information and media have become more diverse. The purpose of this class is to organize the various types of information in museums and to acquire basic knowledge about the provision and use of information. In addition, students will learn basic techniques of information dissemination using flyers, posters, etc. through practical training.
