Course Description

This course aims to give the students who are not familiar with Japanese Constitutional law the basic understandings and knowledge on it. Japanese Constitutional law is roughly divided into two components: the structure of the government and protections of human rights. This course focuses on the former and deals with separation of powers, electoral system, pacifism, and national defense among other things.
