Course Description

With the acceleration of economic globalization, multinational enterprise are expanding into China which is now claiming as the global factory and global market. On the other hand, in China and India, multinational enterprise have been emerging and gaining their economic power by accelerating it’s FDI (foreign direct investment ).
This lecture mainly focuses on Japanese multinational enterprises’ FDI and overseas business activities. The lecture mainly includes (1) general trading companies’ direct investment into overseas with manufacture ,(2) cooperative business activities between parent company and its subsidiary/ factory in foreign countries.
