Course Description

In this course, we will learn the economic geography as a way to understand the regions economically. First, we understand how people live in certain place, and how economy occurs there, by learning economic geography, especially the basics of location theory. And, with understanding the regional organization of the industry, we will also learn regional reorganization by globalization. Then, I will introduce the theory that would be helpful to regional revitalization, such as cluster theory or endogenous development theory.
