The Kamenokozuka Tumulus has conducted two comprehensive archaeological training programs in the past with the aim of confirming the shape and the age of the burial mounds with the aim of learning practical knowledge and techniques such as archaeological search and inspection, topographical observation and surveying, excavation, arrangement of excavated artifacts, and analysis necessary for conducting archaeological research through field surveys. By actually experiencing the investigation of the ruins, we would like to increase interest and interest in excavations and buried cultural properties, acquire various techniques in archaeological surveys, acquire the attitude of research, and clarify the actual situation of the mysterious Kamenokozuka Tumulus.
