Course Description

The aim of this course is to help students acquire knowledge and skills needed to consider "living" in society today. Students are expected to understand the background and structure of the social issues, and to search for hints to solve the problems through cooperative learning such as discussions and group work on symbolic issues facing contemporary society.
By the end of the course, students should be able to explain some aspects of the structure of the various problems facing contemporary society based on a variety of sources.
