Course Description

The objective of the course is to provide students with practical knowledge concerning managerial aspects, as well as environmental issues of venture business creation, survival and growth. The course will center on venture business support policy and promotion measures in Japan, venture capital (VC) financing, including comparative analysis with VC performance in the US and other countries. The course will also provide guidance on ways to protect the intellectual property of the business and other related issues.
