Course Description

In this class, we will further develop the learning in Life Design Seminar and Basic Seminar, and deepen our understanding of basic problems in modern society from an academic point of view. In Seminar I (the first semester), we will take up various problems related to the humanities and social sciences, and acquire the method of productive discussion while improving the reading comprehension and logical thinking ability based on a predetermined theme. In Seminar II (the second semester), students set their own assignments based on their own interests in the problem. And after research surveys, presentations, and discussions by all participants, students write a short article. Through such work, we aim to practically acquire a method of independent learning.
