Course Description

This Western history subscription aims to provide a transparent understanding of American history, the "heresy" of Western history, through a series of readings of recent famous books. The United States of America is a nation that originated from Western civilization, but it is an independent civilization with a universality that is not necessarily found in the West. We can say that the United States of America is "a unique and universal superpower. Through this class, we would like to understand the uniqueness and universality of the United States and think about "what is America?
We will read the following two texts in the first and second semesters.
