Course Description

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015 as the successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) formulated in 2001 with the aim of ensuring the continued development and survival of all humanity. There are 17 goals in SDGs.
In this class, students will learn about the issues facing the world through readings, and as they solve problems and discuss the SDGs initiatives that are solutions to these issues, they will learn to see them as their own problems and develop the expressive skills necessary for discussion.
