Course Description

Based on social science frameworks, especially those of political and international studies, this seminar provides students with the basic academic skills needed to analyze Japan’s relationship with the international community. We will read basic books dealing with international relations and major countries’ internal politics. You will also give presentations on these books and participate in class discussions. In doing so, you will develop your ability to analyze social issues, present your ideas, and acquire new ways of thinking from others.
