Course Description

This class will focus on the economic and business news to recognize the Japanese economic situation and policy development. For example, when you read the news on raising up the consumption tax, you have to know the Japanese fiscal situation which the accumulation of national debt is reaching ceiling. Or if you read the news items of so-called Abenomics, you should know the policies of Bank of Japan. After general explanations, this class will focus on Japanese economic situation and policies in spring semester, and will focus on international economic situation in fall semester. This course will be taught in Japanese.
