Course Description

Fields such as “X” sociology are sometimes referred to as “double-letter” fields. As one of these double-letter fields, “political sociology” spans politics and sociology. In this lesson, we will set aside the definition of “politics” for the moment. How does “politics” external to us as individuals actually affect us? How can we influence “politics”? How does the media engage in forms of political communication? Consider such problems. In this lecture course, some of the work will be done in pairs. Share your opinions and ideas with other participants.
