Course Description

Students use cultural anthropology to compare various policies and customs in India, Nepal, Oceania, Africa, and Europe to learn about ideal social relationships, the value of labor, freedom, why we earn money, and “who we are.” Students focus on two points. Firstly, students study various values and beliefs about social relationships, work, and money. Secondly, students take them into consideration to revise their own relationships with others in society and think about how they can lead a better life.
