Course Description

Students are expected to conduct and complete psychological research under the instructor's supervision. The research topic may either be selected from those designated by the instructor or, with the instructor's consent, be an original developed independently. The course typically involves the following steps:
1. thorough study of the relevant literature, and the definition of the hypothesis;
2. planning the experiment or the survey;
3. data collection;
4. data analysis, and;
5. report writing.
Course grading is based on the quality of the research project and of the completed research report, and also on the quality and extent of the participation in class discussions.
