Course Description

This course aims to deepen the understanding of the business environment of Japanese companies and the issues facing Japanese managers from a long-term perspective. By taking this course you will gain basic knowledge to become a member of society and a businessperson who can always make observations from the management perspective.
While globalization of the economy deepens interdependence among countries, there are concerns about the emergence of various business risks such as climate change, pandemics, and financial crises. Against this background, the relationship between companies and the stakeholders are changing.
In this lecture, I would like to provide materials from various aspects and ask you to think about what kind of issues corporate managers must deal with in a world that is becoming more and more complicated.
