Course Description

The world’s rapidest economic growth has occurred in Asia, the region which is also an important economic partner of Japan. An insight into the Asian economy will help obtaining information indispensable for economic development of Japan.
This course examines the rapid growth, economic crises and the causes of recovery of the region in the process of its integration with the global economy. In particular the course shows how to approach the problems of the Asian regional economy, keeping in mind the vision of economic cooperation between Japan and Asia.
