Course Description

 The "Latin American Societies and Cultures I-IV" course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the culture and society of Latin America, a region that is attracting increasing attention around the world and has deep ties with Japan. This "Latin American Societies and Cultures I" will be approached from the perspective of cultural diversity. Latin American culture differs greatly from one region to another.
 Therefore, this lecture will focus on various cultural elements such as food culture, alcohol, music, religion, and mass media to explain in detail the diversity of Latin American culture and the factors that give rise to it.
