Course Description

The ability to read Japanese and Chinese texts is absolutely necessary for studying the history of the Middle Ages of Japan. In this class, you will explain how to read Japanized Chinese texts and practice reading comprehension of recorded historical materials through reading "Hyakurensho", extraction of a diary of a medieval aristocrat. After that, the article of "Hyakurensho" about the Genpei War will be shared and subscribed.
