Course Description

The Earth, which has a history of 4.6 billion years since its birth, has undergone five "mass extinctions" in the past. It is said that at the present, Earth is in the midst of the sixth mass extinction in the "Phanerozoic" in geological history. In this class, we learn what the "mass extinction" which is currently progressing is. Also we study about the planet "Earth", and acquire the basic knowledge to understand environmental problems and global warming.
