Course Description

Intellectual property such as copyrighted works and inventions exists as information such as ideas that can be used in other places at the same time and difficult to directly control, unlike property (tangible objects) that have a shape like land, desks, and chairs. In that case, if there is no basic ability to deal with patent rights, design rights, and trademark rights, there is a greater risk of getting involved in intellectual property disputes. This course aims to help students learn basic knowledge of intellectual property in general and to develop basic practical skills through worksheet creation. Classes are held using familiar themes, including knowledge of intellectual property necessary for writing reports and papers.
