Course Description

　Subtract the smartphone from your life. It was 2007 when Steve Jobs declared that he would "reinvent the telephone" and the iPhone was introduced by Apple. Before then, there was no LINE, Instagram, and of course, no smartphone games, Netflix, or YouTubers. Thinking about it now, does the world seem a little boring and a little inconvenient?
　The appearance of a new "thing" can drastically change our lives and values. It is sometimes said that Apple has brought about "innovation". It's a word I don't really understand, but one thing I can say is that it is "people" who make "it" happen.
　Taking advantage of the online lessons feature of this class, we will have more and more people who are trying something new appear on the stage. New sweets, new yogurt, new forestry, new education, new medical care. There are many exciting and interesting challenges around me, both inside and outside our university.
