The focus of this course is to continue developing English communication skills to understand and contribute ideas to real-world encounters with other English language speakers. Through reading and listening, students will learn to organize information into pyramids creating effective note taking and then practice asking for clarification to better understand the main points of a conversation. In-class participation includes making group and individual presentations ranging from social awareness at community and global levels to Eco-friendly environments. Listening, speaking, and study skills provide instant practice to build confidence for use outside of class.
この科目の重点は英語コミュニケーションⅠに続いて、他の英語話者との実際の出会いにおいて理解し、自分の考えを伝える英語コミュニケーションスキルを開発することにあります。学生は読むことと聞くことを通じて、効果的にメモを取り、情報をピラミッド型に組織することを学び、次に会話の主要点をよりよく理解するために説明を求める練習をします。授業への参加には、コミュニティーそしてグローバルなレベルでの社会的な気づきから地球環境への配慮などにわたるプレゼンテーションをグループと個人で行うことが含まれます。リスニング、スピーキングそしてスタディースキルは教室の外での使用に自信をもつことができるようその場での練習を提供します。
There are 5 objectives to English Communication:
（１）Listening to World Englishes
（２）Reading and Writing English
（３）English Pronunciation and Speaking Global English
（４）Expand Vocabulary
（５）Understanding Grammar
この科目の到達目標は以下の5点です。
（１） 世界の様々な英語を聞くことができる。
（２） 英語を読むこと・書くことができる。
（３） 英語を正しく発音すること・グローバル英語を話すことができる。
（４） 英語の語彙を広げる。
（５） 英文法を理解している。
Tests and Assignments=５０％, Participation=５０％
中間試験・最終試験と宿題５０％、授業へ参加する姿勢・態度５０％。
