授業の概要（ねらい）

　Depending on the students’ research field, we shall spend our time preparing to make a professional presentation at a scholarly conference for graduate students later in the year.
　This graduate seminar will be designed around the individual English language proficiency level of the students enrolled. We shall learn how to make professional presentations on academic matters in an academic, scholarly context.

授業の到達目標

　This class is based on students’ own interest and the teacher’s own interest in theory and philosophy. It is expected we shall find a shared interest and develop this over the course of the year.
　We shall also concern ourselves with applying theory to literature.

成績評価の方法および基準

　宿題（30％）class, 発表（30％）and 期末レポート・発表・(40％）.
