授業の概要（ねらい）

　We will practice basic Japanese conversation needed on campus and in daily life. The focus is on speaking and listening skills, but we will also learn basic Hiragana and Katakana as well as basic grammar. The class also considers key ideas to get better understanding of Japanese people and culture. The students will make a final presentation regarding Japanese culture.

　Participation to class, worksheets, homework, small quizzes 50%
　Presentation, oral exam, final presentation 50%

準備学修の内容

　You will be required to work with Japanese students and make a presentation regarding culture of Japanese and/or other countries. To do this you will have to work outside of the classes too.
