授業の概要（ねらい）

The course is designed to provide Insurance Operations in the following points mainly.
　1 To provide overview of insurance operations, including functional view of insurance
　2 To examine characteristics of insurance marketing, distribution and channels
　3 To provide overview of important role that the underwriting function plays in operations
　4 To provide overview of important role that the claim function plays in operations
　5 To describe principal functions of reinsurance, various types of reinsurance, alternative

授業の到達目標

The goals of this course are to enable you to understand and apply basic concepts of Insurance Operations by knowing marketing,distribution,underwriting,claim,reinsurance and so on.
1 You can understand overview of insurance operations.
2 You can understand characteristics of insurance marketing, distribution and channels.
3 You can understand what is the underwriting function.
4 You can understand what is the claim function.
5 You can understand what is the reinsurance function.

成績評価の方法および基準

You are evaluated by results,not only ①examination(70%) and ②report(20%) but also ③presentation(10%).

準備学修の内容

Students are recommended to review handout which is provided in every lecture.
Before every lessons, Students are prepared to get a previous lesson review test to confirm their knowledge.

その他履修上の注意事項

Students are asked to attend and participate in the class actively.
Students are recommended to attend this class after attending Risk and Insurance Ⅲ.
