This class will focus on exploring Western culture. Three different teachers will introduce their native cultures in three five-week sessions. While presenting information about their own culture teachers will also teach different approaches to effective persuasive communication in various cultures. Each of the three sections will be capped off with a short presentation and a short test.
By the end of this course the students should be able to
1. discuss various cultures.
2. express their opinions.
3. use facts and personal experiences to support their opinions.
Participation（参加度）: 30% Homework（課題）: 10%
