授業の概要（ねらい）

While re-enforcing basic grammar this class will focus on vocabulary, research and critical thinking to create various kinds of presentations. By learning to identify main ideas, important information and opinions students will improve their ability to understand persuasive arguments and interact with information in a more discerning way.

授業の到達目標

Students will be able to effectively express their experiences and opinions in English concerning a variety of current event topics. They will also learn to construct logical organized presentations of various types.

Participation（参加度）: 30% Homework（課題）: 20%
Final Presentation（プレゼンテーション）: 10% Mid-Term/Final Tests（試験）: 40%

準備学修の内容

Students must attend a minimum of 10 classes per semester. They must make an effort to actively participate in every class, and give a presentation at the end of the semester.
