授業の概要（ねらい）

This class will allow students to explore daily life in Western countries. Each week students will be introduced to typical situations in Western daily life. While discussing the differences between Western and Japanese lifestyles, students will practice speaking practical English to use in various international situations.

Students will be able to effectively express themselves in English and will have confidence to use English in various practical situations.

Attendance and Participation（参加度）: 30% Homework（課題）: 20%
Presentation（プレゼンテーション）: 10% Mid-Term/Final Tests（試験）: 40%

There is no required textbook for this course. The teacher will prepare worksheets and copies of necessary materials for students for each class.

その他履修上の注意事項

Students must attend a minimum of 10 classes per semester. They must make an effort to actively participate in every class and give a presentation at the end of the semester.
