Course Description

This class is designed to achieve Educational Goals 1, 2, and 3 of the General Basic Subjects.
A placement test is required for this course. We will cover a few basic grammatical items every week and will do some exercises to check the understanding. Students will learn through such activities as a pair work

Course Objectives

This course aims to enable students to learn the basics of grammar to improve English proficiency.

Grading Policy

Exercises in the textbook, participation, assignments (50%) and the term-end examination (50%).

Textbook and Reference

Requirements(Assignments)

Students should read the textbook and do the exercises before class and should review the textbook and the assignments after class.

Note

Students have to bring the textbook and a dictionary. Information about it will be provided in the first class. Supplementary materials may be used in classes.
