In this class, students study historical background of contemporary Japanese economy, economic system, industry, social issues. The Japanese economy is developing in various fields but has various problems. The purpose is to consider these developments and problems.

Course Objectives

In this class, the objectives are to understand contemporary history of Japanese economy, students will be able to explain the recent Japanese economy and economic systems and various industries supporting the Japanese economy.
