Course Description

This course is a general introduction to sociology. We will emphasis on understanding the concept of social structure and social networks. Major theoretical concepts and perspectives are presented, including intimacy, public sphere, social interaction, self, media, social networks, memory, place, nation, and globalization. The course consists of general lectures. Students should participate in class discussions.

Course Objectives

After completing this course, the students will be able to view human behavior from a sociological perspective.
