Course Description

This class is designed to achieve Educational Goals 1, 2 and 3 of the General Basic Subjects.
We will use a textbook for developing reading skills and do some exercises to check the students' comprehension of the text and to develop vocabulary. Some of the exercises are designed to help the students learn English listening comprehension and speaking ability.

Course Objectives

The purpose of this course is to enable students to attain advanced level of proficiency in English.
The attitude that students are willing to use English as much as possible is to be attained by mastering basic English totally.
Intermediate English ability for reading and listening on general affairs is to be gained.

Expanding a large vocabulary plays an important role in advancing English ability.
Students are required to check the inportant words' meanings on each page in advance.(2 hours)
