Course Description

· Exercises on the basis of biology. The contents will learn about "characteristics of organism", "gene and its work". Learn mainly about animals, but also learn about plants depending on the contents.
· Leverage teaching materials that utilize information equipment to deepen understanding. Group work according to the exercise contents and deepen understanding.

Course Objectives

Learn the basic knowledge of biology necessary to understand lecture contents of specialized subjects．Increase interest in living things and utilize the basic knowledge gained.

Grading Policy

Evaluate by Practice problem / Comprehension test (20%) and Periodic test (80%).
Return and explain the comprehension test.

Distribute exercise materials in advance, so please check the next exercise content carefully before you go to class. Since we will conduct a comprehension test of last exercise contents at the beginning of class, please review it. A preliminary review over 90 minutes each time is necessary.
