Course Description

Students will learn to think about the future direction of travel industry based on the status quo and data. We will discuss the potential development of travel industry through learning the present status of domestic travel, inbound and outbound overseas travelling, service and its features from business perspectives, new tourism, features of potential resources of future tourism, and its related industries. Students can learn about DP2.

Course Objectives

To be able to learn the importance and significance of travel industry in Japan, which declared to become a Tourism-Oriented Country, by reviewing its historical background, social contribution and functions, business contents and features, and issues to be addressed, and discussing the future direction of the industry.
