Course Description

In the regional societies of Japan, you will learn what kind of town and community planning has been done so far, such as how town planning has been captured and what kind of entity has been promoted. If the arrangement can be made, two lectures and workshops on practical examples of town and community planning in rural villages will be held by inviting external lecturers. In this course, you will acquire knowledge and attitudes for the policy (degree of diploma policy) DP2, especially in the Department of Regional Economics.

Course Objectives

You can deepen your understanding of how town and community planning has been done in the regional societies in Japan and learn how to think about participants in town and community planning in the future.
