Course Description

Together with the advances in information technology, it’s been storing various digital data. Geographical information related with location is one of them. We can use geographical information not only to understand regional economy, but also to make policy as evidences. GIS is a tool to manage and analyze data. In addition, GIS is an academic field in itself. This lecture provides basic knowledge about GIS.
