Course Description

Students are required to go to the school of special needs for 2 days in the former semester and also
required to go to the social welfare facilities for 5 days in summer.
Before the training, students learn the outline of the special needs education and social welfare.
After the training, students will be asked to submit a practical journal and a report about those two kinds
of experiences.
This is the course for Care experience for the handicapped and open only for the students who
registered the teaching profession course, and those who want to acquire junior high school teacher's
license.

Course Objectives

(1)Students will be able to understand the significance and content of experience nursing experience
experience.
(2)Students will be able to understand the concept of disability, the current situation of disabled
students and disabled people, and social welfare system.
(3)Students will be able to explain the idea of personal dignity, special support education, and social
solidarity based on their practical experiences.

Grading Policy

Concerning the implementation status of practical training, we will confirm with the "certificate" issued
by the trainee and the practical journal.
Reports to be submitted at the time of prior guidance (30%),
Reviews (30%) described in the practical journal submitted at the time of the after guidance,
Report (40%) created after practical training.
We will comment on the submission and return it.

Requirements(Assignments)

As a pre-assignment, students will read the text, investigate the significance of nursing care experience, students with disabilities and their education, social welfare system, and prepare a report.
In addition, Students will prepare for questions (5 hours).
As a post-assignment, students will fill in the application form what you want to learn especially in your experience (30 minutes).
Students will review the experience, write down what you learned in the diary, and prepare a posteriori report (5 hours).
