Course Description

To deepen the understandings of Japanese Economy, we study the modern history of Japanese Economy afyer world war Ⅱ and investigate the problem of so-called “the lost two decades” or “Japan problem” by using the basic macro- economic theory. So, in the course of Introduction to Japanese economy Ⅱ, we mainly investigate the strustual problems of Japanese Economy i.e. the Japanese corporate governance mechanism, the Japanese employment system, the problems of pension and social security systems caused by extremely low birth rate and rapid increase of aged people, the latest development of financial system and the crisis of fiscal deficit.
