Course Description

This course is an introduction to "development cooperation". The absolute majority of international community consists of developing countries. It is, therefore,
essential for you to have a knowledge in this field in order to better understand any of international affairs. My own experiences as a practitioner of Japan's ODA programs may give some value-added upon the textbook presentation. Guest speakers from JICA, consultancy and NGO will be invited during the course.
Evaluation is based on the attendance record (30%), mini tests (30%) and the result of term-end exam(40%).
