Course Description

This course is intended for the students who aim to study in France. Subjects to be covered are a characteristic of French society and culture. Their values and principles, including rationalism and individualism will be treated first. Then current issues, such as family, unemployment, immigration and integration will be discussed.The focus will also be on common topics related to gastronomy, mode, sports, arts, etc. Students are expected to have a good grounding in the present situation in France.
