Course Description

Human beings need to affiliate with and be accepted by members of a group. Social psychology is the scientific study of how people’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by real or imagined presence of other people. Social psychology mainly focuses on intra-individual processes to interpersonal processes, and group processes. This course focuses on interpersonal process of how people think and feel about others and things. In this course, we will explain intra-individual processes from the viewpoint of evolutionary psychology.
