Course Description

 This course aims at studying the Spanish culture and society; a basic knowledge of Spanish history, Catholicism and feasts, art, world heritage, tourism, economy and social problem of each autonomous community.
 In succession of the spring course, the lecture is focused on the southern part; Community of Madrid, Valencian Community, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Andalusia, whose cultural background will be detailed in class. Final grade will be based on comments on the subjects during the lecture, homework and the term-end examination.
