Course Description

Currently the importance of the Asian region is increasing, and many are working closely with Japan. In this semester, we will learn modern history of East Asia, mainly China, that extends to the past (from the 19th century ~). I hope the students deepen their understanding of the history and culture of various Asian regions and to gain recognition of the future and the world based on historical background.
