Course Description

Energy Economy (Energy Economics) I and II deal with some of basic and important issues regarding current situation with background and outlook on global energy. Energy Economy II will cover topics including global oil/gas industries as well as their strategies, current situation and outlook on electricity and renewable energies. At the end of this course with the completion of Energy Economy I, participants are expected to comprehend implications of energy news and information coming out of media. Your overall grade in the class will be basically decided based on the result of a final examination. This course will be taught in Japanese.
