Course Description

This course will explore some of the important issues in practical applications of developmental psychology during that part of the life span from birth to childhood in terms of the person as an open system. The main topics are as follows: fundamental theory of development, developmental disorders, social issues affecting children and psychological supports for the development of children with disorders. Each student will be required to work in teams, participate in constructive discussion, and submit summary reports.
