Course Description

There are many research methods in psychology. This course focuses on the experimental method in behavioral study and aims to equip the student with the knowledge to be able to design and conduct experiments with non-human and humans. Examples of topics to be covered includes: functional and correctional relation, validity in psychological experiments, the way to control confounding variables, statistical testing and single-case design, and ethical issues.
