Course Description

This course deals with "Tokko（特攻）", which sometimes translated to "Suicide Attack" or "KAMIKAZE". At the final moment of the Asia-Pacific War, many young people including students were forced to fight in the desperate situation. How should we accept the meaning of their death? The primary aim of this course is to understand the historical background about that.
